Hello and Welcome
My name is Bridie Gigney and I am a qualified social worker located in the Barossa Valley, South Australia.
I hold a Bachelor Degree in Social Work and offer long/short term counselling to Individuals, Families and Couples

I use a task/person centred approach where the relationship between the client and the counsellor is central in order for progress to be made.  I aim to offer a warm and positive environment, thus building a respectful and congruent relationship.

As a social worker I am committed to ongoing professional development and engage in Professional supervision regularly.
I regularly attend short courses and training to ensure quality practice.

I am a current member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and am bound by the AASW Code of Ethics and work at all times with these guidelines.
